I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was beautiful and well-suited for our skiing vacation, but we felt that the services offered were overpriced for what we received. The rooms were spacious, but there were some issues with temperature control, and the dining options were not worth the high prices. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but felt it skipped on quality-to-price ratio.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious, but the temperature became too hot at night, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping situation. There was no tub, which my wife would have liked after skiing.
Service
6.0
The service was prompt but felt expensive, especially the valet parking at $38 daily without any of the expected benefits.
Location
8.0
The location was picturesque with a peaceful setting alongside the mountains and a creek, but it was a bit far from Vail Village, making dining out less convenient.
Dining
5.0
Dining was disappointing, particularly the breakfast buffet which felt overpriced for the quality offered. However, the happy hour was enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had decent facilities, including easy ski access, but some features felt dated and in need of improvement.

The Grand Hyatt Vail offers a luxurious experience with stunning views and comfortable rooms that truly feel like a retreat. While the check-in process was smooth and the ski valet service was incredibly helpful, some issues like cloudy pool water and communication before arrival slightly tarnished our experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful property worth considering, especially for a ski getaway.
Rooms

Our room was plush, featuring delightful amenities like robes and slippers, and provided ample space that allowed us to spread out comfortably. The views from the balcony overlooking Gore Creek were a highlight.
Service
8.0
The service was attentive, with staff eager to help, although there were some gaps in communication at check-in that caused initial worries.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is splendid for skiing, right by the slopes, but it can be a bit inconvenient for walking to the village.
Dining
9.0
Dining at Gessner was exceptional, offering a high-quality menu reminiscent of fine dining, which we found worth the splurge.
Facilities
7.0
The pool and hot tub areas could use some improvements, particularly regarding cleanliness, but the overall facilities, including the ski valet service, were impressive.

My stay at Hotel Talisa had its ups and downs. The hotel has been beautifully revamped since its earlier days, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. However, I faced some challenges with the dining experience, especially with room service that didn’t quite meet expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there’s room for improvement in a few areas.
Rooms
9.0
The rooms were lovely and modern, featuring beautiful marble bathrooms and comfortable furnishings. We particularly enjoyed our balcony room with stunning views.
Service
7.0
The service was mixed; while some staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, others were a bit overwhelmed and forgetful, especially during busy meal times.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located out of town, which offers a peaceful escape, but the shuttle service to Vail Village makes it convenient to access dining and entertainment whenever needed.
Dining
6.0
Dining was disappointing at times; room service quality varied, and there were issues with missing items. However, the main restaurant had great offerings.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities were impressive, including a lovely spa and beautiful pools; it's definitely a great spot to unwind after a long day of activities.

My stay at Talisa was mostly positive, with comfortable modern rooms and a fantastic ski valet service, but the dining options were disappointing, and the location requires a shuttle ride to Vail Village. While the staff provided exceptional service, the limited restaurant choices detracted from the overall experience.
Rooms

The rooms were modern and clean, featuring a lovely view of Gore Creek with a cozy fireplace and an impressive walk-in shower.
Service

The service was outstanding, with staff anticipating my needs and accommodating me exceptionally well during my stay.
Location

The hotel is conveniently close to the slopes, although it's a short drive away from the lively Vail Village.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options quite lacking, with only one average restaurant and a café with limited food choices.

The ski valet service was extremely handy, and the facilities were enjoyable, especially the hot tub and pool area after a long day on the slopes.
